Haiti Scholarships

MAMA Project has been involved in helping students in Haiti since 1999. Being able to attend school makes an enormous difference in the lives of children and youth who would otherwise find themselves without a chance for education.

We are now able to rejoice with many young adults who have started giving back to others in their own countries since receiving help from sponsors in the US, and the Hondurans and Haitians who work with MAMA for the benefit of these scholars.

Please consider making a one-time gift or a monthly donation to help the children of Haiti. You can make your donation via PayPal (below) or by check to the MAMA Office. See information below for current costs of sending children to school.

Scholarships in Haiti

To sponsor children in Haiti, current costs are:

  • $25 for primary students (Grades K-6)
  • $50 for secondary students (Grades 7-12)
  • $60 for 13th grade (pre-college)
  • $150 a month for college students. We recommend that you share college scholarships with others because of the high cost.

A donation of any amount is welcome.

MAMA Honduran Scholarship Fund
The Fund is supported by MCC (formerly the Global Family Program) and your support provides funds to ACEM Honduras (formerly Proyecto MAMA).

Checks can be made out to MCC, and write “Honduras Education fund” on memo line.
